This week we are celebrating Harmony Day. It is a time to celebrate all the different cultural backgrounds of the people who live in Australia. Go to this site. It will tell you about MIGRANTS IN AUSTRALIA http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Lookup/4102.0main+features102014#MIGRANTS Under the heading "MIGRANTS IN AUSTRALIA BY COUNTRY OF BIRTH - 2001 AND 2011", compare the differences in total between 2001 and 2011 of at least 10 different countries. Show your working out using mathematical operations. Write a sentence explaining what you found out.
Analyse the graph under the heading: MIGRANTS IN AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL CITIES - 2011 How many migrants live in each capital city? What are the numerical differences between the different capital cities.
